Are We There Yet?... YES! Finally!
 We’re in our new space. And while not everyone’s completely unpacked yet, already customers are experiencing the benefits of the improved efficiencies and greater productivity that the new space and the new office systems are affording us.
The moment you walk in the door, you’re greeted with a spacious lobby / reception area, appropriately decorated with newspaper articles of historical significance about the company, it’s heritage and our evolution. Just behind that is a broad expanse of modular offices, centered in approximately 2500 square feet of open space, dedicated to administrative, order taking and fulfillment, and customer service activities.
Surrounding the central administrative area are executive offices where a lot of the ‘heavy lifting’ gets done. Sales, marketing, management, order processing, and dispatch are no longer literally “on top of each other” as they were in the previous space. These individuals now have a much improved ability to make work flow seamlessly, all to our customers’ benefit.
 Adjacent to and just behind the office complex is a huge warehouse roughly three stories high. Designed for “easy-in / easy-out” drive-through access by semis and tankers, this 25,000 square foot facility houses vast inventories of case lot lubricants, solvents and other products, as well as storage tanks, drums, totes, and other vessels housing high-demand products, ready for prompt turnaround, when orders are placed.
In the short time we’ve been in the space, we’ve already been honored by local organizations for our ‘contribution’ to the region, be it as a partner in economic development or simply as a business concerned with it’s representation in the community. See related feature HERE.
Keep in mind, the impetus for this move has always been focused on how Superior Petroleum can serve it’s customers more effectively. The new facility is but one step in that direction.
